Nir Keret
I am a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington, working with Professor Ali Shojaie. I am also a UW Data Science Postdoctoral Fellow affiliated with the eScience Institute. Previously, I obtained a PhD from Tel Aviv University under the supervision of Professor Malka Gorfine.
I am broadly interested in complex biomedical data, focusing on survival analysis and privacy-preserving analysis of electronic health records via tools such as AI-generated synthetic data. I also study biological networks through the development of probabilistic and time-series models that learn network structure from data, including methods for causal discovery and for characterizing dynamic interactions.
