Nir Keret

I am a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Washington, working with Professor Ali Shojaie. I am also a UW Data Science Postdoctoral Fellow affiliated with the eScience Institute. Previously, I obtained a PhD from Tel Aviv University under the supervision of Professor Malka Gorfine.

My research develops statistical methods for complex biomedical data, with a central focus on graphical models. I work on Markov random fields, causal discovery, and methods that combine information from multiple sources to learn dependence structure. I also work on survival analysis and reliable statistical inference from AI-generated synthetic data.
